Description

There’s no bra quite like Orion: a large cup wireless bra that won’t let you down, supporting you in comfort all day.

  • Designed specifically for full busts: each size has unique cups – 110 in total across both size sets!
  • The upper cup seam allows for extra roundness on the upper breast, creating a modern, rounded profile under clothes
  • Semi-framed cups allow for some breast separation to avoid that “uniboob” look, without excessive East-Westing
  • Two views depending on your needs: View A has unlined cups and fabric straps, View B has foam straps and a foam sling to increase support in the largest sizes

Included pattern tools

  • AutoWing access included, allowing you to easily adjust the projection of the cups to fit your shape best
  • AutoNeckline and AutoCradle access included, ensuring your bra functions perfectly across a range of fabrics

Orion uses standard UK cup letters and +0 band sizes. This means it suits 26-44″ underbusts and those with a bust-underbust difference of 5-15″

This pattern is recommended for those with reasonable garment-sewing experience, who can sew with fair neatness and have some experience working with light and medium weight fabrics.

If you have sewn a bra before, Orion is very similar and should not pose any problems in construction

Skills Required:

  • Sewing with stable lingerie fabrics and powernet
  • Applying lingerie elastics and the hook & eye piece
  • Topstitching with seam tape to finish seams
  • Sewing with 6mm seam allowance
  • (Optional: sewing with lingerie foam, overcasting foam edge)

The pattern is supplied with 3 pdf booklets that go over choosing your size & materials ⤓, sewing instructions, basic fitting instructions and some alterations tutorials.

The adjustments made by AutoWing, AutoCradle and AutoNeckline are also detailed in the booklet so you can make the adjustments yourself if desired
